How do you clean the jewelry?
Gently wipe your earrings with a soft, damp cloth to remove makeup, oils, or dust. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, or acetone, as they can damage the clay and finishes. Store in a dry place to keep them looking their best.

What are the metals and will the materials bother sensitive ears?
Most styles are made with stainless steel or gold-plated brass posts. I source materials with sensitive ears in mind, but if you have severe metal allergies, please reach out before ordering so we can find the best option for you.

Are the earrings heavy?
Not at all! Polymer clay is incredibly lightweight, so even large statement styles can be worn comfortably all day.

How soon can I expect to receive my purchase?
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 5-7 business days, unless noted otherwise for pre-orders or made-to-order items. Delivery times depend on USPS, but most packages arrive within 2–5 days after shipping.

What is the return policy?
You can view our full return policy https://claybykass.com/pages/return-policy. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days for damaged or defective items, with store credit or exchange provided. Custom orders are non-returnable.

How do I repair damaged earrings? Do you offer aftercare services?
If an earring breaks or a post comes loose, I can often walk you through a quick fix at home. If you’d prefer, you can also send the piece back for repair or replacement. In many cases, I can repair or replace the piece for a small fee (or free if it’s a recent purchase and due to a defect).

Do you do custom earrings?
Yes, I can help with a custom pair! Custom orders take 6–8 weeks processing time and include a $3–$5 upcharge depending on complexity—customs using a shape I already make (just a new color/pattern) are the quickest to recreate. Since my clay is hand-mixed I can’t guarantee an exact match every time, and if I don’t have the right cutters/tools for your idea we may need to tweak the design. I also can’t create anything trademarked (sports teams, logos, brand names). If you’d like a custom pair, please fill out my contact form with your inspo, colors, and deadline; and if you’re ordering matching sets for a bachelorette/girls trip (or more than 4 pairs), those are highly welcomed and you’ll receive a group discount!

Do you do events?
Yes! Clay By Kass offers earring bar pop-ups, private workshops, and custom jewelry for events. Whether it’s a boutique night, a bridal shower, or a girls’ night, I can bring a hands-on jewelry experience to you. Please fill out our contact form.
